Pizzeria Firat - Kuopio

During a drive from Oulu to Tampere, we stumbled upon Pizzeria Firat while searching for a quick lunch. The shop is conveniently located just off the highway. We selected toppings that we typically enjoy back home in the U.S. and were delighted to find they were all offered. The family-sized pizza was ample for three adults with hearty appetites and tasted delicious with its thin, crisp crust and generous topping of cheese and tomato. The owner was exceptionally friendly, making it a delightful pit stop during our lengthy day of traveling.

A small, but surely warmly supported local restaurant (with very large portions! The food is also great, and the staff is exceptionally friendly, the people here have been the same for a long time. The atmosphere inside is, at the moment of writing, very warm and beautiful, customers are relaxed and chatting quiet, and the plants that cover the ceiling wear to a cozy and friendly atmosphere.

If you order a pizza here, I guarantee you don't go hungry home! Her normal pizza was bigger than the family in many other places. Salad got the pizza. You also have an extensive menu with other dishes, including chicken, kebab and salads.

The service is okay. Food quality depends on the type of food. The Kebab court Riisi was fine, but the pizza we ordered was barely edible. If it's not your only option, I don't recommend this restaurant.
