The burger was nothing special, size or taste wise. The chicken sandwich was good, as were the chicken pieces, the fries and shake. But I don?t think any of the food stands out. We sat in the outdoor space in the back. It was nice but very loud it?s very close to El Camino Real. They just opened, so maybe the burgers will improve. You order at a kiosk so not much interaction with the staff. We were there at 5 pm. By the time we left there was a line of 25 lined up out thedoor.
Good vibe, clean place and conscious staff, and the burgers taste great, remind me of Disney's Country Bear Gymborry grill of old. Fries use some kind of vegetable oil that detracts from the taste, they could be so much better with avocado, olive or safflower oil. Love that you can order and pay on screens, makes the experience a lot better. They even have children play mounds outside which is good if you bring children. Recommend!
A good, clean location with a fantastic staff. I stopped by for a burger and cheese fries, both were tasty. A staff member named Doran was a Rockstar and giving Michelin Star service...seriously, this guy is incredible at his job.
In honor of the college commencements that will soon be taking place, our Review Team crafted their comments related to their visit to Shake Shack through that lens. If @shakeshack_usa were to be striding to ?Pomp and Circumstance?soon, they would be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Shakes. While they clearly took some courses in the subject area of Burgers, their diploma would only reflect a Minor in this discipline. As for their study habits in the field of FrenchFries, sadly their diploma would reflect no significant achievement in this area and their transcript would reflect a single elective course on this subject that was taken (at their insistence on a Pass/Fail basis. (They passed, but not bya lot. Our Team departed struggling with a sense of dejection and longing, but soon identified a corrective remedy. Stay tuned for that? And that?s?Henry?s Take. @henrystake
