Famous Dave's La Crosse

Had our table for 10 ready right at our reservation time, which with little ones in tow is appreciated. Tables were two round ones pushed together which made for a bit of awkwardness but we managed. Would definitely do again and appreciate that they are on open table.

Great food in a fun relaxed atmosphere, perfect for date night or a family dinner

We celebrated a young and an old birthday. Great free desserts! Waitress (JennyM) was wonderful.

I thought the service was good, and the value was acceptable, nothing I could really be too much. I had brisket, pommes and drilling. the pommes were better than averages. the table was not very clean from the previous diners, so was disappointing. I thought our waiter was pleasant and really attentive and that was eating in time.

After I put our reservation opentable (and printed a copy,) I presented the reservation to the host and he noticed what is that - I have never seen that before? and so he simply added our name to the long waiting list. as I had him to famous dave 's had the opentable reservation as an option on his website, he simply shrug his shoulders and ignored me. very likely I will never be a return-patron at famous dave 's! our treatment was rude and insulting.
