My husband had the eggs Benedict, which was same hard poached egg, a few pieces of bacon, over two pieces of decent bread, but honestly, for $19,000 each, not worth it. It didn't even come with some greens or potatoes. On the plus side, Croissant was tasty, on the minus side, capuchino was so so. Overall, not worth the price. Better option? Go to Al Agua Patos up the street.
Great for a coffee with some cakes. Seat outside and enjoy. Just loved it. The bread looked delicious.
A quiet respite from the bustle of Bogotá, near the Parque de la 93. Eat in or take-away great baked breads, tarts, croissant, buttery cookies and pastries. Excellent coffee. Try the mango tart and the onion soup. I went during the mid-afternoon, service was friendly. Free wi-fi. Covered outdoor seating.
Maison Privat (private home) opened just a 6 months ago in 93 park in Bogota. I came to try their French pastry which is always a hassle to find a good patisserie in Colombia. First inprecion of mine was big and empty. However pastry display was looking nice and prices wasn't astronomic like some other places. We ordered; tartelette manzana (apple pie), financier almendras, teja... All of them was very good. However their Botero brand Manizalles origen coffee was to asidic and over taken taste. Should have ballance low asidic and perheps sweet coffee. Next time I will try their luch... Please keep the quality as it is...
What a gem! I truly enjoyed this French theme (mainly bakery) restaurant, I tried some of their breads (including the croissants) and all were super good (I wish they would heat them up a little before serving to table, it would make a huge better difference), the 'Privat Eggs' are THE BEST I've had, I loved everything.
