Feedback gevenIt seems covo la jolla closed without announcing to opentable. pity because they had great music in the bar and I felt alone safe. I saw, give me back my wig band there a few times and the place was rocking.
Unfortunately there was a paper sign on the door in which they were closed due to water damage, but we had a reservation and should have been notified before arrival with our guests. apparently they are two weeks closed.
I have booked an 11 o'clock here to dinner after a show in lj playhouse, knowing that our show 't ende before 10:15, and do not want to be late for a reservation. I received a message on the day of fixing that they still open at this time, but that the entertainment was planned to stop 11 (which I noticed when I made the reservation) and offer to postpone my reservation earlier if I wanted. I will say that the place is really pretty and has a beautiful atmosphere overall. we arrived at 10:35 and sat immediately. soon after, I noticed something on the table that there is a 2 drink minimum purchase requirement per person. that bothered me a bit because I was driving instead of ubering, and I had a cocktail before our show. I wanted to have a glass of wine with dinner, but nothing more to make sure that I would be sure to drive 15 miles home. if I had been informed about the minimum, I would have either chosen another place or planned our transport differently. I didn't even mention this because I starved (10:45 later than I usually had dinner). When I asked for a menu, I was told that her kitchen was closed at 10:15. who closes their kitchen 45 minutes before the planned dinner parties with reservations? when I assumed that this could be my fault, I checked opentable to see if it said anything about the kitchen closing in the early hour. it doesn't. also their website. in the did, their online food menu has appeared the open hours of 7 p.m.-1 a.m. the website also says in great pressure feed them their late at night asking about the link to this lounge food menu, which is their way to promote themselves as a late night dining place, which by the way the only key criteria for my decision to choose this restaurant for this evening. In addition, the entertainment was two women on the stage (one sign, and one playing keyboard), which appeared completely high on any kind of drug by all indications.
Great food, great service, great entertainment. We loved it!
Our waitress was not good or attentive. We kept running out of coffee, water, and drinks. I ended up tipping the waiter that was serving the table next to us because I kept asking him to get our waitress. I asked him to fill our water glasses several times, which he did.
