I have been dining at this restaurant for 12 years, numerous times. They have memorized my favorite dish: Pad See Ew, vegan style with peas instead of egg, soft tofu, added spinach, no tomatoes, brown rice to go, and a side of chili tray. They also have delicious fresh rolls filled with sprouts. The staff is always cheerful, energetic, and eager to make sure customers are satisfied. They even allow well-behaved dogs in the outdoor seating area. This restaurant is a favorite among locals. Whenever guests come to town, I always suggest going to Spice and Rice. They are open every day for lunch and dinner, except for Sunday lunch.

I took my friend out to eat at this restaurant recently. The waitress kept checking if we were ready to order, only a few minutes after giving us the menu, and continued to ask until we made a decision. I ordered the vegan pineapple fried rice, which was delicious. We also had the sour and spicy tom kha soup with tofu as an appetizer, which was very tasty. However, my friend ordered the ginger entree with mock meat and found it to be quite bland and disappointing. In general, we had mixed feelings about this place. It definitely wasn't one of my favorites.
I recently took my girlfriend out to this restaurant. The waitress was quick to ask for our order shortly after giving us the menu, and continued to check in until we had made a decision. I ordered the pineapple fried rice and requested it to be prepared vegan, to which the waitress asked if eggs were okay. The fried rice was delicious and full of flavor. We also tried the sour and spicy Tom Kha soup with tofu as an appetizer, which was very tasty. However, my girlfriend's ginger entree with mock duck was unfortunately bland and disappointing. Overall, we had mixed feelings about this place - it wasn't my favorite choice for dining out.
