Orbe's - La Majahua

You managed to make it! Orbe, Alia and Orbe Jr. have a GREAT thing. You're family when you're here and their margaritas are the best in Troncones! In addition to fantastic traditional Mexican dishes, they serve fusion dishes that... are as amazing as their shrimp taquitos (Asian Flair, the ribs on Tuesday... super delicate, tasty sauce....and new for me this year the papas rellenos... chorizo or beef top potatoes (actually delicious potatoes in a small artistically folded tin foil Boot Delious! Orbe 's is the first place where we are on the way to the city with many visits during each stay....If you are lucky, you can get Orbe Jr. to sing and play the guitar;

Orbes is a highlight of our stay in Troncones! We enjoyed interacting several times with Orbe, Alea and Orbe Jr, as we drank the best margaritas in the city, ate notch ribs, a delicious fish sandwich and excellent shrimp rolls (I forget the exact name). We will be happy to go back!

Orbes is the place where many of the long expats hang. It is a warm and happy place. the food is excellent and the prices great. Look at the Camarones Imperiales, bacon wrapped shrimps, exquisite. Great food.

Orbe's is one of the standards in Troncones. Good people, good food and good value. Very strong Margaritas! Tuesday is rib night and the place is generally overrun with local expats many of whom have known Orbe for years. The burgers are great as is...the basic Mexican food. They also have the best Tiritas in Troncones!

My favorite item at Orbe's is the aguaschiles -- a super tasty shrimp cerviche. The setting is nice, light & airy and Orbe has a very winning way with his customers. His restaurant is very popular with the local expatriate community and Mexican-nationals too! It is a great place to visit for lunch if you want to get a feel for the place.
