Croq' Neige - La Plagne Tarentaise

Terrible food, steak sandwich was just a burger cut in half in stale bread and the chips were vile….. even had to ask for a plate. When the waitress offered ketchup, she pointed its over there, hard to move in ski boots! I’d avoid this place.

Busy place at the foot of plagne centre. Delicious chocolat chaud and portion de frites. Servers busy but super friendly and will work to get you a seat.

This became our firm favourite for lunch whilst skiing the La Plagne Centre bowl. It is not expensive, the food is decent and then outstanding feature is the great service. What a team! Even when the place is packed the service is quick friendly and polite. They made us feel that we mattered when we are just another family of skiing tourists. Thank Croq’ Neige we loved you. PS the Croque Madame with the fried egg on top is exactly what a hungry skier needs, whilst the vin chaud is tasty and the hot choc delicious!

Very friendly and relaxing place even when busy. We had coffee here every day with a complementary sweetie. We a few lunches here on the strength of the service. The staff are great and the pizzas excellent as was the wine considering the prices. Good place to people watch and top up the tan. PS there is a gents downstairs.

My wife, myself and our 18 month old stumbled across this place for a late lunch and were very impressed. Our waiter, who turned out to be the owner was brilliant. Our son was into everything and he brought him some activities to keep him entertained. He also advised us on a lovely wine from his home town and we had a good chat about rugby after realising we both had a shared passion! All in all a really good experience and not expensive. Great spot for some lunch at the base of the slopes.
