The restaurant wasn't too busy when we went in the late afternoon, but I could tell it gets crowded. The poutine was good overall. The fries were excellent and the cheese was tasty, but as you know, poutine has three main ingredients. The gravy was a bit lacking for my taste, too clear and tasteless. It was a decent poutine, but I think there are better options out there.
We decided to dine at this restaurant after reading positive reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. The young woman working at the counter was fantastic, just like the chefs! Despite being a busy establishment, the efficiency and fun atmosphere made the experience enjoyable. There are plenty of paid parking spots available. The prices were also very reasonable. Thank you very much for a great experience!
A Sunday trip in the country, we landed in Lachute, I had a desire for Poutine. Oh, man, we were not disappointed. It's age, years since I visited, it was even better than I remembered. The service is a knocking 3 girls... standing, cooking, preparing impeccable presentations. The portions are almost as incredible as the value... A huge poutine enough to share tons of sauce, tons of curds with two of the best ‘steam’ I’ve ever had, no boring ketchup and onions, all dressed... homemade coleslaw with a pimples on the top. Definitely one of the best.
After a long journey through Quebec, my wife and I starve to Ottawa. Neither of us speak French so we were not sure to go here. The girl behind the counter spoke English and was very nice. Food was excellent and very...probably expensive! Thank you.
We were a bit hesitant about ordering at first, but when the server saw me struggling with French, she reassured me by saying, "Go ahead, I'm listening!" The food was excellent and reasonably priced.
