Kfc - Lafayette

It was a slow night, but it took a long time to get our food. My house salad came out immediately and it was really good. My wife ordered a pecan crusted chicken salad and that was excellent. The salads here are good. I had the Aubergine Parmesan and that was good. The atmosphere is outdated, but clean. I'd come back to the salad. I had the Merlot. Had the Pinot Noir.

My server was great! I ordered the Chicken Italian Nachos (always a good idea, imo) and the new Prontopasta option. The Spicy Romano Chicken was great as usual. The Caesar salad was not my favorite (but it's a personal thing, I'm picky over my caesar), but the soup was great (Garlic Potato). Overall a fantastic experience, although this could come from the nostalgia of work ten years ago.

Honestly, I don't understand why many people complain so much about their food. Went with a group of people at 5 pm Saturday and had excellent service and great food (picture is seafood Fuccini). The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is that the only options for sauce given to each person was Alfredo, or Spicy Marinara. The spice took a lot of taste and the afredo was too rich to enjoy the whole meal. In addition, the men's toilet felt like a running down bar bathroom, which was finally cleaned for the first time in years.. overall the bathroom was clean, although the garbage was overflowing, only 3 pictures on the wall and one in front of the urinals of a vintage-smut picture... Not Racy, but on the edge of being. I'm sure I'll go back. Have fun!

Has been a while since my last visit, and it was nice to see a menu change/update. The heavy hitters are still there (Lemo Rosemary Chicken, Chicken Mano, Etc) but also to my surprise they now have the lemon pepper salmon and the GARLIC JALEPENO TILAPIA!!!???!! I was too intrigued, so of course I order it. While waiting the usuals were also pleasing (Roasted Potato Soup, Bread and Oil). The tilapia arrived and wow, I was impressed by how delicious it looked, not to complicated and perfectly layered and cooked. Taste was just as amazing, I really loved the picked jalapenos. That was the perfect addition to the spinach and tomatoes. Great pasta bed underneath an amazingly seasoned and well cooked Tilapia Filet. Great job as always server was nice and knowledgeable when questioned about the menu changes. Thanks as always and we will be back!
