Niko's Spicy Pickle South - Lafayette

I stopped by on the way home from work a couple days ago and tried the Turkey club sub meal special to go. The manager assured me that I would love it and be back soon. She was absolutely right, as I was impressed and I wanted to try more of their entrees. I came back the very next day and ordered a full buffalo chicken sub, with the intent of eating half that night and having the rest for breakfast. That didn't happen, because I ate the whole thing in one sitting, because it was that good. Long story short, this restaurant is outstanding, and it is a travesty that as I write this review on December 23rd 2016, Google continues to list this restaurant as permanently closed. To paraphrase a Seinfeld episode, it's open, and it's spectacular.

The Strawberry Spinach salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette is AMAZING!! The manager/cook/owner?? Is ALWAYS super great to us!! (My other half gets the anti pasta salad and we always get a cheese and pepperoni pizza (also awesome!! .... Going this weekend for sure!!

Ordered cheese sticks and the Floridian. For a vegetarian option the Floridian was refreshing and filling and the cheese sticks came with two sauces without extra charge which I hardly see pizza places do.

We got a pizza and buffalo wings. The 6-7 buffalo wings were big and the buffalo sauce was excellent and my husband got a pizza. He loved the pizza and couldn't finish it all in one sitting. I would love to see gluten free pizza and breadsticks options if that is a possibility!
