Sam's Southern Eatery - Lafayette

Eaten there a few times. Never been disappointed their burgers are delicious and I just had their fried fish and it was delicious. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area

I love this place, of course I can only speak for the catfish dinner as that is all we have ever ordered.However, judging by the great taste and amount of catfish you get, I can only imagine that the other items on the menu are just as great! Only problem, they close too early, but certainly still worth 5 stars. Not too many places warrant 5 stars but all the restaurants in this general area are 5 star worthy, well except ONE of them and I think it's because their management employee's don't take pride in their work or just don't care. Worst taco bell ever

Sam’s messed up my order. Shorted me on my food. Tried to notify them over phone and no answer.

Great food, great service! Drive-thru or eat in but prepared while you wait so be patient! Sam, the owner, is so kind and such a gentleman!

I’m giving 2 stars one for each of the polite employees that were working because The food was really good. The employees were nice except for the manager. She has a nasty attitude. She was yelling at the other two employees in front of the costumers. That is VERY unprofessional. She was yelling at the new employee Juliana because she messed up somthing simple and it’s her first day !! Everything was amazing except for the manager’s unprofessional attitude. The place would be a better experience if she wasn’t there.
