Great little find in Carvoeiro, yummy wine food, lovely ambiance fantastic friendly hosts. Definitely well worth a visit...

I love the drinks selection in Cheers. You can order a glass of Champagne, a classic cocktail or a good glass of wine and the owners are both very knowledgeable about food and drinks. Cosy and relaxing 'old style ' bar :

Cheers is a cocktail bar just a few blocks from the center of Carvoeiro. A must stop for a glass of wine, cold beer or cocktail before dinner or after. It has a unique ambience. The owners, Monica and Kirk, make you feel at home, always ready to assist on a selection of wines, porto or cocktail. Very friendly atmosphere frequently by local expats.

Well I don’t usually like to be unkind but unfortunately this wasn’t the best experience. The fizz was lovely but the platter and the rösti were really not great. I expect the couple running this pub are more about the drinks than the food.
