When you walk in the smell of the boudin hits you like a fist of Cajun love and magic. The shrimp boudin, hands down, is the best I've ever had, it has a very generous amount of shrimp in it and almost tastes like a mild shrimp corn bread. Plate lunches sell out fast get there early.

Daily Plate Lunch. This is a Cajun plate lunch deli. You walk up to the counter and pick from the daily 'home cooked ' menu. The food is great and unless you 're real hungry, you won 't be able to eat all of the food that will come in your tray. They have all kinds fo boudin there also along with a variety of meats and foul. Don 't arrive late for lunch or the selection will get slim. No supper here. This is a place for the noon meal.
