Feedback gevenI have been visiting this coffee bean since it opened, and the service and staff are exceptional. I'm always welcomed with a warm smile, and the staff is incredibly patient. They are especially kind when I bring my dogs along. Without me even asking, they offered my dog a pupcup, of course only after getting my permission. I wholeheartedly recommend this location and plan to remain a loyal customer.
I absolutely love their seasonal beverages! The Winter Tea Latte is my favorite.
Today, though, I had a disappointing experience. I ordered my usual drink, but they added way too much half-and-half, making it overly creamy. I went back to the counter and asked if I could just get the shots of coffee on the side so I could mix it myself. The barista, Alex, kindly provided the shots, and I also requested ice-filled cups since they had skimped on the ice in my drink. When I asked if I could have the regular-sized cups, since that’s what I originally paid for, she suddenly became rude, insisting that regular cups weren’t given out for free and that I would need to pay if I wanted them. I explained that I had already paid for the regular size, but she continued to be dismissive. She even accused me of always complaining about my coffee and suggested that I either accept a refund or find another location to visit, repeating this in a disrespectful manner multiple times. This was particularly surprising because I’ve never received such treatment here, especially at a place where they usually recognize my order right away. I couldn’t help but wonder if there was some outside influence prompting her behavior, as it felt very unusual. I also found myself questioning whether I was being discriminated against, especially since I was wearing a Star of David necklace at the time. Overall, this experience felt deeply disrespectful after being a consistent customer for years. I truly believe Alex needs to work on her attitude. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this location again.
I 'm a Coffee Bean Tea Leaf member. I have had a member for a very long time. I 've been to many CBTF all over southern california. But this location is the worst i 've ever been too. I 've tried it several times, and each time I 've ordered the same thing they just can 't get the mixed right. I haven 't had this problem at any other location here in Southern California except for this one here in Lake Forest. Period ? ? ??
My experience was far from good. If you like cold hot coffee go to this location.
