The Farmhouse Cafe - LAKE PLACID

Great beer, great food, great service. charles was a fantastic server. he made us feel at home and explained the menu, while some recommended that were right. the poutine was the best I had on this side of the Canadian border. fantastic. I wish I lived closer to visit more!

I've ever had it. service was great. eating is fresh and well prepared. a little from all hubbubs of the shopping and museum area. beautiful place.

After visiting Lake Placid for 7 summers we stumbled on this cafe at the suggestion of a local... OMG how have we been missing this GEM! The pancakes, on the menu as flapjacks, were the best I have ever eaten and they are served with LOCAL maple syrup. We plan to visit again.. well likely tomorrow... and then again each visit to this historic town. This review is written about a holiday week visit (the busiest we have ever seen town) and after being disappointed with the service as many of our prior go-to restaurants we were so pleased to have this experience!

Best breakfast I’ve ever had. Blueberry Vanilla stuffed French Toast was absolutely amazing!
