The Cottage - LAKE PLACID

The food and service were outstanding. The sommelier’s wine suggestion was fabulous. We were not rushed and were able to have a lovely evening enjoying great conversation while indulging in a truly memorable meal.

Excellent restaurant. Food was excellent, and the service was top notch. Had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant very much. Prices were a little high, but not surprising considering the quality of the food , the premises and the overall experience.

Great food and atmosphere, should have two scallops instead of one on the first course for dinner.

We got there early and did have to wait but the hotel has many parlors and a nice bar so the wait was pleasant.

We had a lovely Christmas dinner at The View. After spending 3 nights in Lake Placid, dining at some of the fanciest places there, The View had the perfect combination of excellent food, gracious staff and cozy, Christmas-y ambience.
