Barona Resort Casino - Lakeside

WARNING! HIGH ALERT! READ CAREFULLY!Before you gamble at this casino think about how long you have to work to make that money and how hard you have to work. This casino got very greedy, most table games were $5 minimum bet, now they’re all $25 minimum. I know so many people that filed for bankruptcy and ruined their family’s lives because of this casino. I went there and $1000 only lasted for about 40 minutes playing the table minimum, $1000 is almost 2 weeks of working for most people. 2 weeks of hard work just to play for 40 minutes???. And when you leave the dealers talk to each other about how much you lost and laugh at you. I understand that casinos need to make money to stay in business but not lose large amount of money in a very short period of time. Also the dealers there are very slow and don’t know how to deal.

Barona Casino Resorts is another amazing place to visit, I live and have an hour and a half drive from the casino…love the drive there. As soon as you walk through the doors to enter the casino you get a warm welcome from team members..saying welcome home, and Barona lives up to that name. Parking is always great, with the convenience of a disability station with scooters to assist if you need some special attention. The staff at the players club desk are polite, friendly and continue to make you visit feel like home. Always had a great time at Barona especially if you play and the slots, tables and experience are very nice…winning is very good as well. If you play one thing about Barona is you never will go hungry cause of the food vouchers accepted at all food ventures, bakery and coffee shop…the coffee is the best I’ve tasted so far. If you are planning a stay, the hotel staff well get you squared away..as I mentioned already in my review the rooms are comfy, clean, secure and make you really feel like home..don’t forget to grab a cup of that good Barona coffee in the lobby. Also if you play the rewards are great at the casino. I hope this review will provide some assistance in decision making to visit Barona..you will definitely have the time of you life. I would highly recommend this casino.Rooms: The rooms are very comfortable, clean, all thee amenities, and security wish makes a great stay at Barona.Food drinks: The food court at Barona Casino is great, very nice service and prices are not outrageous.

You can count on Barona to be always friendly, always efficient, and always professional.Having a smoke-free environment serves a much more enjoyable experience over all.The staff no doubt is always friendly. From the moment you drive onto the reservation you 're given a wave hello which I think is adorable coming and going, without fail.Worry free parking with shuttle service.The minute you enter the doors you 're given a welcome home greeting with a smile.Five stars! I don't gamble or stayed at the hotel, but I live in the area and I always enjoy driving up there. It's calming on days I just need to get out of the house. I walk around and hang at the food court. You hear the typical sounds of a casino, but it's never annoyingly loud. It has a pretty laid back atmosphere actually. I love their food court, particularly the dog stand and ice cream. Good prices for good simple food. I'd like to stay at the hotel one day which is why I only give it 4 stars. I can't say anything about the hotel ?‍ they also have lots of parking there too so you'll never really have issues finding a spot.Food drinks: I always go back for the hot dog and ice cream kiosks

The hotel rooms are only available for diamond or platinum members (Don't remember what they call the leve status) with a special invitation. The casino is pretty far from everything. It's a nice casino but, if you aren't a certain status, you can only eat in their food court. I called to try to get a room and was shut down. I tried to get a table at the steakhouse and was shut down. We tried to eat in their other restaurant (not the Italian place) and we were shut down. I won't go back.Noteworthy details: Rooms are not available to non-diamond or platinum vip people.
