Luan's Seafood Grill - Lambeth Canada

This was our third visit to Irene 's during two visits to London. This is a small place but 'size does not matter ' here. The food is top-notch. They specialize in seafood and it is good folks. We also were given a treat; our aunt ordered the Carrot Cheesecake Cake. This is a compilation of carrot cake and cheesecake all mixed up. I had to steal a taste because I did not order dessert. I now wish that I did. Irene 's is the place to go for lunch and dinner.

We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. My partner had the Halibut and I order breakfast. I enjoyed my order food was hot and very tasty. My partner really enjoyed the fish all she kept saying in was amazing. Over all we were very happy with our waitress and food. We will come back again real soon. The prices for the food was reasonable.

Have gone to this place on and off for about 20 years and found it handy when I worked nearby. Think it used to be known as Irene's fish and chips but could stand corrected.It's only fair that this be compared with other fish places like Kipps Lane or Archies to honestly review and there are many others. Their fish compares well with Archies but a little less than Kipps Lane but still good. But then it is all about the different batters and whether fries are fresh cut or how fresh the fish might be. I like this place and recommend it for a good lunch but would not dismiss the equal numbers of fresh fish places in the city. Kipps Lane is still the best in my books.

Wait staff is excellent and what comes out the kitchen is amazing. Oh! You need more info, you said? Here it is:<br/ <br/ OK, what I learned so far, the chef (and I assume) is the owner, is from Albania. By the way, the Albanian thing is real but it is not relevant isn't it? Good food is good food! Period! Well, this one Albanian MF knows his stuffs. The last time I went, the place is full of regulars. That's a good sign! <br/ <br/ Hey, to make long story short, try them out! My boyfriend and I often come here for breakfast and leave satisfied every time. We decided to give dinner a try and what a treat it was! Fantastic food great staff and very reasonable prices, a true hidden gem of London!
