The Oxbow - Lander

The Oxbow is a restaurant in Lander, WY that serves things like meat and pot roasts and Bisonburger and fills breakfast. It has a salad bar and paintings from cowboys. It was here when the time began and it will be here when we are all passed on from this earth and also the severity you get on your potatoes looks like fudge sauce. You can add chocolate cream cake and also a long island iced tea. You can also get apple pie and I can never choose so that I usually both (to take home, which is because good luck packing two generous slices of cake in your intestine after completing a hearty Oxbow main). It has a friendly staff and a comfortable seating area. And the light comes very nice in the windows, as the sun reaches behind the Wind River. Final notes: The salad bar I mentioned is ordered in an elaborate manner. The Oxbow is, without a word of a lie, my favorite restaurant on the planet and I would eat here every day for every meal if I could.

Medium-sized family business of the 2nd generation with perfect service and fast food. The dining area is modest and open with a wooden theme and many local features. A pleasure to dinate and they also offer for very cheap prices. Definitely a must eat when in town.

I heard great things about this place. Everything was true and more. We had the chicken strip dinner and grilled cheese with baking potato and started with the sampler. Everything was great and the service of Vikki was even better! We'll be back. The place was packed and she didn't miss a beat with everything.

Loved this little restaurant. Great lunch, but I think your breakfast would be better. Fast service with a great smile and fantastic personality. Recommend this restaurant. Enjoy!

This has been one of my favorite places to eat since I was young! Great food! Great service! Salad bar is outstanding! Love it I will be a returning customer forever!
