Restaurant du Chateau

We visited several times last year. This restaurant offers really good food, excellent value, in beautiful surroundings with a great atmosphere. The owner is creepy that he seems to be in a constant state of chaos, but he has everything under control....Sometimes service takes a little longer than some like, but we love to dwell. Open lunch breaks.

A wonderful and friendly family run restaurant, the food is delicious and very reasonable. Always a bottle of wine, water and cider on the table lunch deal and you can drink as much as you want.

We had an excellent family dinner. The quality of the food was very good although there wasn't much choice on the menu. There is parking opposite the restaurant which didn't look open when we arrived. The interior is more modern than you might expect from...the outside. The only downside was that we were the only people eating there until another British couple arrived. I don't understand why this should be as the food was truly excellent and I thought it was good value for money. The other diners told us that they visited quite often as the restaurant catered for vegetarians. We had a really pleasant evening and would certainly recommend this restaurant. The proprietor was very welcoming and the service was good.

De passage à Lassay les châteaux,nous sommes entrés dans ce restaurant un midi,la patronne a eu bien du mal à nous dire si on pouvait dejeûner, on allait partir.! on ne choisit rien,et il n'y a pas grand chose dans l'assiette, quand on est dans le commerce, il faut accueillir tout le monde ,pas seulement les habitués! et en plus ,ce n'est pas bon marché.nous éviterons cet endroit.

Restaurant avec une priorité pour le service des travailleurs ouvriers (ayant peu de temps pour déjeuner), avec une cuisine traditionnelle comportant quelques saveurs surprenantes et intéressantes. Pour ma part, une longueur dans le service est à déplorer.Accueil agréable mais dont le professionnalisme reste à améliorer.
