Villa Montesquieu - Laudun-l'Ardoise

Yesterday on rainy Saturday in January we had lunch here. It was a very positive surprising gourmet experience. The food was delicious and very beautifully presented. This restaurant is a Michael Star! We know all the restaurants in the area (St Remy), but that... was worth the trip! And will be on our list. The service was also very good and friendly. We loved it and will certainly come back.

There is so much, this is absolutely right with Thia Restaurant: from the delightful staff to the peaceful and exquisite ambience, but the heart is the food that presents both admirable and brimming with all kinds of taste. If you want to spend a quiet and pleasant evening in the company of great food and wonderful wine, this is a great option.

We went out with friends to this very striking hotel restaurant in the town of Laudun surrounded by vines. Laudun is very hard to navigate but the restaurant has its own parking lot. Follow your GPS. The wine list is limited but there are some...nice choices. The food was uniformly thought to be excellent by all five of us. The pace of the meal was perfect and the waiter (working alone for about 20 clients) was sympa and efficient. We recommend Villa Montesquieu.

I live in the area for around 6 months of the year and am always on the lookout for new places to eat and enjoy. Im not sure how long this hotel restaurant has been here but it looks newly renovated. The garden and...dining room were spotless and you can tell that alot of thought and care had gone into the decor and overall ambiance of the place. They had a menu de jour on offer for €24 and set menus from €32. That is not cheap and you will easily find cheaper options but the quality of the food, service and location make the extra few euros worth it. I opted for the €32 set menu which was very delicious. If you are looking for a meal that is above the bog-standard french restaurant meal, this is well worth a look. I will be going back and would definetly reccommend it.
