Aj's Indian Cafe And - Launceston

Absolutely fantastic! This is one of the best curries I've had in Australia—most are usually too mild for my taste. I mentioned that I enjoy spicy food, and the chef recommended the chicken tikka masala. The blend of spices was incredible, unlike anything I've experienced before. Hats off to the chef! I have a feeling he prepared it especially for me, but that's perfectly fine because it was delicious. Can I give it a six out of five?

Best dal makhani I had in Australia even very rarely in India. The owner/cook was very polite, stopped what kind of food we needed and exceeded expectations. Very good Naanbrot! Best Indian food in Launceston, we tried others and they can even be compared with AJs.

The food is rather good and the staff are really nice. I would go back here. I found the food spicy but the chef insisted and took it back and made it less spicy for me. Thank you!
