Pleasantly surprised. launceston for the work to visit my two colleagues I said we should go the **** and taste the restaurant. I was excited to see a peacock and hunt him for a photo. Imagine my joy when I saw the rest of them. was further thrilled than along a wallaby with a joey, lol. but enough about the animal world, more about the restaurant. we were the first customers when the restaurant was opened on Wednesday night at 18:30 a.m. for dinner. served by a nice guy (adrian) and served our drinks of choice, which were generously cast. Gorge reserve is beautiful, a beautiful location for a restaurant and a beautiful location to enjoy a good view. I stopped at the restaurant, at the deck to rest and a cool drink. I was disappointed by the service. first they need to order in cash, no deck service, but the most unpleasant part is the manager, causing an unpleasant moment for the employees and customers. I ordered a sparkling drink and a beer that the waiting employees have completed the order, suddenly the manager comes along and pour the glass of sparkling to another glass to reduce the amount of drink in the previous glass, about a quarter volume less. this looks at the unpleasant moment for the customer and for the staff...read more

Beautifully joined meal times. breathtaking view from the dining room. happy and helpful staff. lower oily garlic bread served with suppe, which in turn was too salty.

We had a nice lunch at the fire and saw the peeks running around. my mushroom-leek bakery was beautiful, full of taste. and my dessert was a very refined type of chocolate cake with melingue and was one of the most beautiful desserts I ever tasted. beautiful environment with good service.

Lunch. Skipped breakfast to have a nice lunch at the Gorge. WOW when the food came out I was so disappointed about the serving size. I know it said light lunch however that was more of a tasting plate then a lunch! Fortunately the salmon linguine was beautiful but I have left hungry and not impressed with amount of money i had to pay for such a poor portion. Not worth the $
