If you're looking for delicious and flavourful food to enjoy after 5pm until late, this is the perfect spot to visit. It's affordable and a wonderful place to bring your family. Make sure to say hi to Suzie, the owner, and mention that Lisa recommended you. She is always cheerful and enjoys chatting with customers while they wait for their food. Plus, she occasionally adds an extra treat to your order that you only discover when you get home. She truly goes above and beyond.
After finally arriving in Launceston after Qantas cancelling our plane, we were looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful for a quick dinner. The guide book at our accommodation mentioned this restaurant so we decided to head in for dinner. We were warmly greeted upon arrival by Suzie who offered us either a take away option from some food at the front or a sit down menu. We opted to sit down and placed our order for Honey Chicken, Chicken Cashew, steamed rice, vegetarian soft noodle and some drinks. Every dish was delightful and had flavour and fresh, quality ingredients. Milkshakes for the kids were well priced and alcoholic drinks a little expensive and range limited but overall, great value for money. The service was efficient and friendly throughout the meal and we'd definitely recommend this for families.
This place has become our regular Chinese food place. After trying every Chinese restaurant in town, this is the best for a nice quick meal. We only order ala carte , so never tried the buffet, which seems to be very popular with the other diners. The food is well cooked, tasty and good sized portions. A family business for sure, with delightful people.
After looking at the menu, we decided to go for the self-serve containers. The selection available in the self-serve section was quite good. We decided to try the homemade dim sims and they were delicious.
