Previous owner of Kabob n Karahi. The owner is really friendly and polite. He makes everything from the scratch like mentioned before by other Yelpers. I have been there twice after trying other Indian/Pakistani restaurants in the area. The Karahi and tikka are really good there.
One of the best kabobs in MD. A must try!!!! Don't let the interior fool you the food is amazing!!!! I eat here weekly and almost feels like the food taste better every time.
We ordered three items off the menu, including the daily special, we were told they didn't have that. We waited 35 minutes for our food to arrive. The place could use a little cleaning/sprucing up. Then why is this a 5 star review? Because this was some really tasty food made my a husband and wife who were super welcoming and very apologetic about the long wait (they had dishes to prepare for a big catering order). The food: The beef kebab was fantastically moist and flavorful, the naan was the lightest naan I've ever had (not doughy at all). The biryani was yum and the lamb curry was sooo good. I will be going back for more.
Good inexpensive place to eat if you are in the mood for home-style cooking and have the time to wait on this one-man operation. The owner is from Punjab, Pakistan, and he is also the guy who will take your order and then cook your food. He does a great job, occasionally he will have a family member helping him but usually he is running the show all by himself. So, if you have time, and if you are in the mood for authentic Pakistani food cooked home-style, this no-frills little place is ideal. Also takes catering orders.
