It was okay, but don't expect the food to be very delicious. The General's chicken wasn't spicy! Anyway, the portions are family portions, so you'll definitely get enough food and then some. Again, the food was okay but not the best I've ever had. Service was good tho, very prompt in making the food.
Enjoyed LO for the first time. Ordered takeout for lunch. Good food and service. It was a pleasant experience, happy all the way around! We had recently experienced the opposite at RJ in Layton. Glad co-workers suggested LO.
Tried this place for the first time. Ordered egg drop soup, lemon chicken, vegetable chow mein with hard noodles, ham fried rice, battered shrimp, and spring roll. The only thing good was the egg drop soup, chow mein and chicken. The ham fried rice was over cooked and had a weird taste. The shrimp was also way over cooked. I had to throw both away. The spring roll was just ok; really bland. The next day when I went to eat the rest of my chow mein there was a long hair in it.Needless to say I will never go again.
It's sad to see restaurants like this one not doing well, when they've been around since I was a kid 25 years ago. The quality of food is poor, the service was mediocre, and the feeling of sitting in the restaurant with stuff stored around the tables and no guests makes you feel uncomfortable. First impression walking in the door the cashier is on the phone with someone that is obviously not work related, and immediately tells us they only do take out because of no customers. I wonder why? I don't recommend this restaurant. There's 10 other Chinese restaurants that will satisfy you.
