Tj's Sports Bar and Grill - Leamington

From the outside one would think it might be a mistake to try this place kind of a hidden little place- but looks can be deceiving. We wanted to have local Yellow Perch and soon found this is the place to go! The perch...were perfectly breaded and served hot out of the fryer. Fries were the same- hot freshly cooked. The owner even catches the perch they serve! The decor does leave a bit to be desired for sure, and I would like to have a draft beer but we came for the perch and they have great perch for sure.

We went there Friday night with some friends who had gotten a recommendation to this place for the all you can eat perch. It's small and certainly nothing fancy, but the friendly greeting and service we got from Nella made up for it. The perch...was delicious, fries nice and crisp. Will definitely go back. Nella made us feel right at home from the moment we got there to when we left.

We kept seeing their roadside signs so we decided to give it a go. Really small and dirty. Washroom was filthy. NO DRAFT BEER! Food was pathetic. French fries were soggy and greasy. One and DONE!

Food was below average. Garlic bread was not even good. Not homemade definitely store bought spreads and sauce for the wings. Not going back again. Service was good.

Love the perch dinner but since Sep until now Feb there fish are really really small. Used to be a nice size but now more batter than fish. Will phone before going next time when fishing season is up and running.
