Wok Roll Express - Leawood

Went in to grab some quick white rice to save myself cooking it at home. Took 20 minutes. The rest of the food looked horrible, atmosphere is terrible. Don't go here.

I don't know where to start. The General Tao's chicken was moist, juicy, fantastic sauce with the perfect amount of heat. The Vietnamese Spring Rolls were tender with the perfect amount of bite without being so fragile they fall apart or so tough you had to gnaw your way through the wrapper. The vegetables were fresh and crisp and full of flavor. And finally the Hot and Sour soup by which I judge all Asian food establishments by. All I can say was it was PERFECT! Plenty of veggies and tofu, meat and the body of the soup was perfectly seasoned and was the thickened exactly how it should be. All I can finish up with is this is the only place I will be ordering Asian food from. If the hot food is this good I can't wait to try the Sushi.

If I had to use one word to describe all the food in my order, it would be, dry . Everything from the tuna nagiri to the egg rolls was just very dry. This on top of this, my pick up order taking 30 minutes longer than estimated, made for a disappointing experience.

I eat here easily once or, twice a week. The food is always amazing! Family owned...super nice people...I love Wok Roll! ?

The food here is excellent, especially during lunch. However, dinner can be hit or miss. I've enjoyed a great meal one time, but then encountered excessively dry chicken on another visit, and a dish that was incredibly spicy (even though it wasn’t meant to be) during yet another visit.
