Feedback gevenWe had a great time at this restaurant. Although the gas heaters were a bit temperamental, the staff were all lovely and dedicated. We enjoyed a bottle of champagne and some cocktails. The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw away from the train station.
Pretty disappointing experience. Staff not overly helpful or interested. Ordered and paid for bottle of wine. Did not have any stock in bar fridges, so said would go out back and bring it over to the table. Arrived back at table to say they didn’t...have any and would like to pick something different. Changed from Pinot Grigio to Rosé which was a price difference of $3 cheaper and didn’t bother about making up the difference. Ordered charcuterie board to share. Staff member said didn’t have the meat to make it and could refund, but changed to cheeseboard which was same price but underwhelming. Had to ask for wine glasses. Had to ask for share plates. Service not up to standard at all. Shame really.
Arrived and waited 5 minutes to be served. Found out cash was not accepted and there were no traditional aussie beers but Heineken was on tap unfortunately this was flat. Thought we would give the food a go... Squid rings were definitely from the freezer...section and cost $18 for 6 or 7 rings. Wings not even going to go there. All in all if it wasnt for the company of friends we would have left within 5 minutes. Never returning
After navigating the QR code to order with payment not accepted, several trips to the bar for help we received our 4 $16 Espresso Martini’s that tasted as if they were laced with a foreign substance …. undrinkable Long story short after asking for a...refund we were told that’s not possible as the eftpos machines didn’t allow we left with the Manager saying they would look into the refund on Monday! Calamari was like rubber …… indignant servers who couldn’t care less. Great looking venue let down by substandard staff, food and beverages Their loss our gain we found a little establishment called Robert’s …. The bomb !
We had a wonderful brunch in the garden at this restaurant! Frankie, our server, did an amazing job and took great care of us.
