Hog-n-bones - Leesburg

The atmosphere at this restaurant is lovely and the BBQ is pretty good! I tried the pick two combo with ribs and half chicken, and they were absolutely delicious and fell off the bone. We did have to wait a bit longer than expected for our dine-in experience, but it was during the lunch hour. The hostess, Mary, was very kind and welcoming. Thanks, Mary!

I have never been treated so poorly by an employee or manager in my life. I simply requested that the BBQ pulled pork sandwich be chopped a little more, and the manager responded by telling me to find another BBQ place if I didn't like it. I was shocked that I would receive such an attitude for such a simple request while spending my money. I don't feel that this experience warranted a 1-star review, but unfortunately it is the lowest rating I can give. Despite attempts to address the issue, the lack of response regarding the disrespectful behavior of the employees and manager has led my wife and I to decide to take our business elsewhere. Losing customers due to rude and arrogant staff should not be acceptable.

I tried the Texas BBQ lunch combo and was impressed by the generous amount of meat in the sandwich. I appreciated that the BBQ sauce was served on the side. The service was friendly and efficient.

So we arrived at 7pm to a BBQ spot we don't have back home only to find out they are out of more side items than they actually have. Mine you it's 2 hours before closing. My wife orders the pick 2 with fries and side salad. I ordered 1/2 rack of ribs with fries and coleslaw. Got fries because they were out of baked beans. The waitress was friendly and trying. When our food came out my wife only had 1 of the 2 meats we paid for and the fries were cold and disgusting. We asked for fresh fries but waitress said that was the last batch and we could get another side. When we choose she came back and said her manager instructed her that our plates had to be returned in order for the old fries to besubstituted. And to think we actually choose this place after reading reviews. Coleslaw, salad and tea were good. The Mac and cheese less than desirable.

They gave me mummy plenty of sauce which is nice. I got me chicken tossed which I didn?t know what that meant but is was very good. I enjoyed their women are always right sign. The ?how you Americans say? fries were very good. I?ve never eaten bones before so the name scared me a little but there were no bones in the chicken thank goodness. I hope to eat here again if I ever return to this place. starts singing country music violently
