Mario's Leic - Leicester

I ordered pizza from this restaurant on Easter Sunday because most other pizzerias were closed. They earned points for being open on a holiday. Although it is not our usual spot, we decided to give it a try. We ordered two pizzas - one with onions, peppers, and mushrooms, and the other with extra cheese, half pepperoni, and half meatballs and onions. We also ordered French fries. The wait was around 20 minutes, which was reasonable. When we got home, we noticed a mistake with one of the pizzas. Instead of half meatballs and onions, it had mushrooms and onions. We called the restaurant, and they told us to keep that pizza and they would make us a new one. The hostess was very apologetic and accommodating. We returned to pick up the corrected pizza, and the hostess informed us that the chef had made an error. We appreciated their honesty and were happy with the outcome. The hostess was polite and gracious throughout the entire process. The pizza was delicious, and the fries were thin and crispy - a great choice for pizzeria fries. I will definitely return to try other items on the menu because of the excellent customer service. Overall, a positive experience and I will definitely be back.

THREE STARES ALL DAY LONG. Bern eating here for over 40 years. Food just ok. Nothing to write home about. Much better if you do a search. Take it or leave it.

I would have given it five stars but the service was just so awful at the start ..,. We walked in on a Sunday it was empty , no one at the front desk and one girl was just standing there staring at us without asking if we needed a table. Someone finally came from the back and sat us. We then waited another ten minutes and we're about to get up to leave when finally a waitress noticed us and rushed over . Her name was Cynthia and she apologized stating no one let her know we had come in so I cannot fault her plus she was sweet and got us our food quickly . If it weren't for her we were going to leave. The food is very good . The apple and bleu salad was tasty and fresh. Mussels in red were good and the pizza outstanding. We would go back but sit in the bar area so we can get faster service . The decor in there looked cute as well.

I was in the mood for a good sandwich and tried this spot. I called in my order of the blackened chicken sandwich. When I arrived I parked in a lot nearby. I walked in and gave the lady my name and she grabbed my food. I paid and left. When I dug in the sandwich was really good. It was seasoned to perfection! I enjoyed it and had a good experience.

Great food and great service I highly recommend going here and the enviroment is execellent and relaxing
