Miller Carter Leigh-on-sea

We went to Miller and Carter for a birthday lunch and opted for the lunchtime menu, which offered great value and a fantastic selection. The food was superb, the service was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The only minor annoyance was that we had mentioned it was a birthday celebration in our booking, and there were even cards on the table, but the staff at Miller and Carter did not acknowledge it. We would have expected them to have read the booking and at least wished a happy birthday, but unfortunately, they did not do so.

We went to this restaurant last night for our anniversary dinner. We were seated promptly, and our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive. My husband ordered the T Bone steak, while I opted for the chicken burger. Both dishes were delicious and full of flavor. We also enjoyed a sharing board for dessert, which was also very good. We had a few drinks as well, and were pleasantly surprised when the bill came to a little over £100. This was probably the best meal we have had here in the past few years, and we highly recommend it.

We enjoyed a Christmas lunch with our group of friends at a restaurant we are all members of. Some of us ordered steaks, which were cooked perfectly to our liking, while others tried different items on the menu. The steaks were particularly outstanding, as Miller Carter is known for specializing in steak dishes. However, some of the other dishes may have been just okay. Despite a complex billing situation involving a voucher and splitting the total, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly in handling it all smoothly.

Had a great meal here with friends on Black Friday and much needed after a mad shopping day at Lakeside! We took advantage of the fixed price set menu, the food was really lovely and a great price for the three courses we all had. Debbie was our waitress and she was really friendly and attentive and a great asset to your team. We will definitely return, that was our second visit in recent months and looking forward to many more.
