Excellent chicken strips! Crispy outside, delicate and juicy on the inside. The best I ever had. Can not beat fresh chicken fried to order. Owned by Coop, who also owns Coop's West Texas BBQ over the parking lot. So the excellent quality here is not a surprise. My wife and I get orders from both restaurants when we're in Lemon Grove. Prices have risen, but quality remains excellent. Update: Got the big order of chicken strips and pommes. Excellent as usual! Previous closure due to lack of available employees.

What a beautiful experience during the Kovid times. Tiana was my cashier and seriously it was refreshing to go anywhere and be served by an aspiring person with a positive attitude. Chicken Waffles was on point, juicy, savory and sweeet. Another positive comment was that there were so many people here and Coops West Texas BBQ, who talks volumes about food and service! This was not my first visit, and after such a pleasant interaction I will continue to support this business.

Really good chicken and people. This is the real deal with great taste. I read an evaluation that there was no taste. This is not the experience I have. The food is cooked to order and is cheap. The seating is outdoors, but I am sure you eat ca inside at their other place located above the highway. Hit this place up, you will not be disappointed. I don't live here, but I'll eat here every time I'm in the Lemon Grove area. Stop and get the best food in the area.

Besides order wrong the chicken was good the frits are nothing special waffles are thin fried okra had no taste. Would you like to give it 3.5

Flavorful chicken, best fried okra this side of the Texas border and service with a smile. Small order of the dark meat fried chicken was a generous portion along with the okra. We shared this meal with a meal next door at the BBQ place they also own and run. Delicious all the way around. All outdoor seating under umbrellas with an outside bathroom too.
