I love their variety of choices of combos absolutely love churros. They speak English and Spanish so for those of you who use their family members to speak for them don't worry there super friendly and super helpful so don't be bashful.
This is the only location I come to when I'm in San Diego. The chicken is seasoned well, flame broiled and the kids love how they can build their own tacos. Tried the birria quesadillas, not bad for a chain restaurant but I've definitely had better. Feeling satisfied...
I don 't know about you, but if I smell a toilet backed up just before eating, I loose my taste for what I want to eat. WELL, that 's what happened here!!! And don 't go to the restroom to wash your hands!!! OMG!!! I wanted to tell the Mgr. about this so badly but I didn 't want to embarrassed my friend with me. As soon as we walked????in, he said let 's get it to go. I knew what he meant. But I really wanted this food because I came all the way from Texas to work here for a few days and we don 't have El Pollo Loco 's in East Texas. The store looked clean but the smell said otherwise! Yes, the food was great ???? and ? like we expected.
This pollen loco restaurant is terrible, it is 100 degrees outside and I could almost suspect it is hotter inside because of no AC, they have this portable bubble hot air, saw cockroache running around floor and floor is dirty. Surprised is this place open for the service.
I?ve been a big fan of El Pollo Loco since I was a kid. It is deliciously marinated and usually fresh since they continuously cook fresh chicken. They?re meals are seasoned properly and always tasty. They have the best salsa too. I?ve ventured away from just chicken and have had several of their salads which are also yummy. I?m sad they no longer carry black beans but I enjoy pretty much everything else on the menu.
