While we waited, we watched other parties of more than 2 enter, be seated, order, and also receive their food before us. Not even worried, we assumed ours would be out soon. We did get the appetizer pizza we ordered, which was good but our meals never came out. After 1.5 hours of chatting, sipping wine and finishing our pizza, still no entrees. Guests who entered after us are done eating and now leaving! When we got the waiter’s attention notified him that we needed to leave at this point, he asked if we wanted our food boxed up to go. I replied with, “Oh, is it ready?” To which he answered, “No.” Wait, what…after 1.5 hours (no exaggeration ? Anyhow, he didn’t even offer the last glass of wine my lady was drinking on the house (not be expected, but its what I would have done in the least , just the bill for every glass plus the pizza. Honestly, it seemed like he never even submitted our order to the kitchen. The one food item we were able to taste was good, but not special and not good enough to be treated like that, especially for their prices. And funny enough, we don’t get to spend regularly like that on dinners, but we did dress up, tie and all to go out that night. So we at least didn’t LOOK out of place, even if we were a little bit lol! :
We had a wonderful dinner in the patio. The food was very good. My only negative comment is having to pay $12 for four small slices of bread seems outrageous.Though the cheese they provide looked good because of being on dairy free diet just plain olive oil would have been nicer.
We usually really enjoy eating here. This time, focaccia was cold, meatballs were cold, server took 20 min in between table visits, he was rude at times and rushed us. He also didn't tell us the kitchen was closing when it was and then sounded like he did us a favor that he was able to get our order in. They got rid of the kids offerings, no good. We will return, but not for a very long time.
I had a disappointing experience. They tried to seat us in the noisy crowded bar area for our reservation so we had to ask for a table in the dining room. Waiter was attentive. We had to wait overly long though for our entrees. The linguini lamb ragu dish and Halibut dish came to table. Linguini was hot but the halibut entree was barely warm. The halibut was so overcooked. Pan-searing left a crust more like halibut jerky. This destroys this delicate fish. I had to use a knife! lt came with a tiny portion of overcooked plain farro and a few summer beans. I was shocked by the skimpy serving size of a $40 entree. Then I saw the same dish served at the next table and both the fish and farro were more ample portions. The diner there didn't have to use a knife to cut the halibut so my guess is that it didn't have the jerky crust like mine did. I was disappointed that my serving was so small in comparison. This meal was not a good value for the portion and quality. Noise level was very loud.
This the perfect place to come in summer with the lovely outdoor patio. And the food was wonderful lots of summer fresh produce and delicious things. I'm never disappointed.
