Antipasti platter brought marinated anchovies, bread fritters and other delights. Swordfish and courgette pasta options delivered deep and complex flavours as did the involtini fish rolls. You also need to try the home made orange tiramisu once in your life this one tasted even better than the one sampled in 2019. Finally, we really appreciated the thought behind both dishes provided to my 7 year old son. He wolfed down the pasta alla norma and chocolate hazlenut ice cream in seconds. This restaurant is a must visit on Salina and our apartment was 400 yards away.
Impossible to overrate our experience at Villa Carla. Extraordinary food, wine and atmosphere all at a very reasonable price and an extremely welcoming family as hosts. After our meal, we had difficulty getting a cab, so Carla called her taxi driver son to drive us home. As we waited, her husband picked a fresh watermelon from their garden, seeded it and gave us slices. It was delicious. If you're on Salina, don't miss out on this place.
Spent an evening here for dinner: a cozy place with that family feeling only in Sicily you can find. Delicious and original dishes and recipes cooked with genuine Salina ingredients.
He enjoyed the dish with a glass of wine that the host recommended. The atmosphere was magical, and the local cuisine was a must-try.
This was one of our favorite experiences in Salina! The food was out of this world the lavender ricotta pasta was a favorite and the setting was so beautiful. The service was great! We hope to come back here again!
