Hocho Sushi Ramen - Leszno

The ramen was terrible. Noodles took almost all volume of the bowl, corn and wakame took the rest of the place, expected slices of stewed pork turned into cheep grinded meat. Soup? Which soup? There wasn't any bulion at all. Do not recommend. And please, when you cooking rice, try to add less water as rise shouldn't taste like mashed potatoes.

Just okay nothing special

What a fabulous place. I am typically skeptical of sushi or ramen as it is often hard to find a restaurant here that prepares either of these well (let alone both . Despite the initial hesitation, the quality of ingredients, the passion and care in which they are used to prepare the dishes here is obvious. We love the lemon tree sushi as well as the traditional nigiri. The salmon is handled religiously and the quality is evident in every bite. The broth for ramen is expertly made and the pad thai offers the ultimate comfort dish. Service is also very efficient, constantly. We like to dine in at the bar sometimes as you get to see the expertise of the chefs on display as they serve up their signature sushi. Other times, we opt for a seat upstairs and take our time, sharing dishes with friends and family. Worth noting Hocha is very dog friendly; so we get to bring the whole family : on our last visit, Klaudia was our server. She proactively explained new dishes to us, consulted us about old favorites, and was a delight throughout (very communicative, effervescent, and helpful . It was an amazing experience! The cook Sebastian is a well trained, skillfull and creative chef. His performance was excellent! I loved how he put his personal touch in traditional cooking. Delicate and surprising. Claudia was serving that evening. She is a professional too. Very friendly, discrete, still showing personality. Great team! Thanks guys. An unforgettable dinner. We will be back!

This restaurant is about experience as much as it’s about classy artistically served gourmet dishes. Food was out of this world and the service impeccable.
