After ordering one of their special dishes which included 4/5 different kind of fish, they mentioned that they were missing the mussels which they kindly said to choose something else instead. After 30min more of waiting, they came back saying they were also missing snails, which was making the plate really poor. After more and more time of waiting without being told anything, we decided to leave since they couldn't provide anything decent. We got charged the full wine (which we had only half) and 6 shrimps. Please try to avoid and try some other places nearby, which there are plenty! Very poor service overall.
Such a cute and romantic place in the middle of the very not so cute oyster district. Sit out in the back. The lady running the place is adorable and the service was great. But the oysters are obviously why this place is worth quite a long detour. Don't miss it!
Lovely, small raw seafood cafe amid the many “Seafood Shacks”, just outside Port Leucate, it’s probably hard to pick a poor shack, as they’re all a pleasure serve wonderful oysters, mussels, cockles, whelks etc, though no prawns on this trip maybe the drop off in seasonal visitors doesn’t justify importing them, as prawns seem to be the only non local seafood generally on offer.
They produce their own sea food and you consume them locally, directly from the sea: Oysters (different size, mussels, ...)
Fresh oysters or other shellfish from their own production. Various sizes of oysters are available. All served with some slices of bread and butter. No salads, no fries, no desserts available. Wine or soft drinks, yes, after all we are in France. There are tables available on the street or canal sides.
