I would've given more stars if they would've at least made that right. The salsa was different. Not bad I guess but I've never had salsa like that at any other authentic Mexican restaurant. Usually the green salsa is slapping anywhere else. The prices were pretty high also. I guess I was hoping for a Real Mexico (the restaurant) experience. Next time I'll just drive there.
Great food, not your southern style mexican joint more of a western taste of real mexican food
This place is so good we ate there 2 days straight. My wife and I were up there on a wildlife evening trip and saw the reviews. The reviews are right and tight! Everything fresh made and hot. Careful, maybe stay with the mild hot sauce unless you are super ready to burn. I like jalapeños etc, but stayed with mild. Best chorizo I've ever had. Tortillas are hand made. No alcohol or desserts. Plenty nearby. Jammed at lunch hour so go later afternoon. Be very very careful turning in and leaving.
I was super happy with my experience here. I just dropped in for a to go order and had those Sopes. Wow were they tasty and a huge amount of food. The ambiance was not fancy but I was happy with the service, price, and especially the taste. I will be back next time I am in the area. A good deal for good food!
Easy to pass but I suggest you don't and get there for some authentic Mexican food. Great value, great food.
