Soda Isara - Liberia

This was our first restaurant we visited in Costa Rica, and one of our favorites! The food was delicious, they were super friendly and we would love to come back next time we're in the city! It would be helpful to know a bit of Spanish going in, but google translate helped us order what we wanted. We ordered the pineapple batido, and they went to the store to get the pineapple to make it! We stayed at the family Airbnb (Casa Isara) and would highly recommend it!

Great soda attached to the Airbnb we stayed at in Liberia. They were so accommodating and the food was so good. Everything was made fresh as soon as we ordered and it didn't take long for the food to arrive. The batido was great too. Highly recommend both the soda and the Casa Isara Airbnb!

Food is very good... and attention too. Homemade food with affection and at unbeatable prices... I recommend it. Especially test your star product, the Isara Patacones

We had the food fortune to stay at Casa Iscara (Airbnb)when we arrived in Costa Rica and enjoyed the food from Soda Iscara immensely. Their signature dish is the Patacone Iscara which I had never heard of before, and was so delicious we decided to eat there our second night. Fresh food made with love. That’s the only way I can describe it. If you are in Liberia, do yourself a favour and enjoy the food at this cute diner. 10/10

We visited Soda Isara after reading the rave reviews Google and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing!! It was a quiet evening. We were the only ones in the restaurant. We watched some soccer and enjoyed a beer while the food was being made to order. This was our first meal in Costa Rica and it's going to be difficult to top this. I highly recommend!!
