Daddy O's - Lihue

The place was clean and organized. The food was okay. Good prices and good service. We had to wait outside because the place was full. I had shrimps and the taste was good. We went for brunch, but they also had many options for breakfast, which looked great.

It's hard to find out this place, but find a really nice place. Diner like experience with really good breakfast / lunch / dinner options. I really had the Daddy O Kanaka breakfast. Really nice service, owners and waiters are really nice, want more about their patrons and where they come from. Overall, here would come again to try their other foods, they have so many ways to try.

All right. Slow kitchen and staff so plan the time accordingly. Coconut machadamia pancakes were fluffy and the syrup was very thick and taste more homemade than other syrups I tried. Stuffed french toast is really good, and I usually don't like a fresh toast because of the soft bread flavor. But this is completely different, with island sweet bread and filled with berry cream cheese cream!

The café is small and it will probably wait, but not be discouraged. I guess this restaurant respects veterans by giving them a free drink!! The Macadamia coconut palms are sponge, and the cream is delicious. I promise you have NIE pancakes as good as these. I had the stuffed shrimp eggs Benedict, who were delicious. My only wish was that they had been served with one side of land potatoes. Honestly, this is one of the few restaurants I would return to.

Wow! Wow! From “the best stuffed French toast ever” to the unbelievably delicious stuffed shrimp eggs Benedict, “fantastic” french toast plate and some of the fastest, friendly, and efficient service: Daddy Os delivers and then some. Located in a strip mall, Daddy Os has food and service second to none, with outstanding prices (for Kauai). I’d love to say I discovered them, but I can’t. Parking is easy, and located close to the airport so we can come back even if we have to get something to go; we’re already making plans to come back tonight!
