I ordered a small combination, because if I'm going to have Kako's Saimin, I figured I'd go for everything ... but small. I remember back in little kid time being able to eat a large saimin. Thanks Marcie for a great lunch, quick service, and taking a moment of your busy day to chat! It's a small restaurant that is only open for lunch. There's quite a bit of parking in front that's shared with other businesses.Am I biased? Heck yeah! My grandma took my hubby and I to saimin for lunch (after she took us out for breakfast and fed us fresh fruits from her garden as a snack) on our honeymoon ... and we still made room for Kako's saimin. Love you and miss you, Grandma Tamura! It's just off one of the main roads in Lihue, so as I remember, there were Pokestops that I could hit from the restaurant.
This place is only open for lunch and you had better go early. She closes right after lunch. This is a family owned restaurant. She makes the best saimin ever. Wontons and roast pork are yummy. Even the noodles are house made
Noodles were not good, there is no restroom in the place. Very few options to order from.
Good Saimin good local people. Support Local. I was impressed by the flavor. Super good. Open for lunch. I would highly recommend this to everyone.
