Local dive bar with pool table and four slot machines you might not think of this as lunch go to but I loved everything about this stop. I had a 1/2 lb burger with locally sourced beef, fresh cut fries and a drink for under $20. The waitress was friendly and so was the cook, feels like a nice hang out with many locals greeting each other. I heard some of the regulars ordering salads and they have a daily special (today was fried bologna) and I learned that a Philly dilly is fried pickles. For the kind and prompt service, taste of meet and fries is give this little bar and grill a full five stars for all around hospitality and supporting local farmers.

Great people working there. Best fresh fries I've had in years. Another bonus is the owner was from Michigan.
