Woodfire Grille - Asheville

The steak and garlic mashed potatoes were very good. The salad was fresh and served in a bowl that was slightly too small. All portions were generous and only thing I see is they could use more help.

Food was ok. Limited choices on menu though because theya ran out out of items. No kids menu. Not worth the cost.

A beautiful, an ultimately gorgeous little get away, the rooms are immaculate and clean. And the restaurant there is just amazing. So amazing that I wanted to work there to get a taste of what else they served. And I am blown away by how expertly everything is crafted and the ingredients used. We arrived on time for our dinner reservation and waited about 15 minutes before we took the initiative to ask about getting seated or service in general. There was only ONE wait staff on duty who was covering the bar and the two seating areas. Not what we expected when we made reservations. We spoke to the wait staff and told her we had reservations but were not going to stay due to the situation and she was fine with us leaving. Very disappointing.

Party of nine. Seated promptly. Order on time. Food all well prepared.
