This Xian Cuisine restaurant offered a wide variety of interesting dishes. Although a bit expensive, it was in a convenient location just outside the city with parking. However, after visiting, I discovered that it has now closed. The shutters are down and there are no signs of life, with post piling up.
Although not exactly a hidden gem, I have driven past Yo's countless times and finally decided to give it a try. Today, I had lunch with my elderly mother. Nathan, the host, was incredibly kind and attentive to her needs without being overbearing. The food was exceptionally delicious and cooked to perfection. It is definitely worth a visit and we will be returning in the future. Just keep in mind that they only accept cash, no cards.
The restaurant was quiet and friendly the waiter was delightful. We opted for the banquet deal incredible value for money. No matter how hungry you are you will leave full!
Food was barely room temperature. Although the rice and vegetables were swallowable, they tasted like they had been cooked in old stale oil. The chicken tasted like it had come as a cheap job lot from the side door of a factory farm for processing old hens. Even the cat wouldn't eat it. You've been warned.
