They are no longer Mandarin Villa. It's new owners and food. Chow mein was very heavy with oil and the bbq pork cut was nearly all fat. They also raised prices. I would go to Golden China on Turner Rd.. Same price better food and substantial amounts.
Under new owners tried to charge me 29 dollars for a meal for 2 that supposed to cost 15.95, then brought out their new menu and said new owners had raised the price to 19.95 so why did they try to charge me 29 dollars. Food was cold had to microwave to eat. I recommend never going to this restaurant it's not the same. My wife and I owned a Chinese restaurant and couldn't believe how bad they were. We have been going to this restaurant for 2 years and will not only never go back but we'll tell all of our friends to avoid it like the plague
The General Chicken was soggy and slimy, while the Mongolian beef had an unpleasant fishy taste—definitely not a fan of seafood! However, the pork fried rice and pot stickers were decent. I won’t be returning!
I tried the pork fried bao, pork fried rice, and chicken vegetable dumplings. Overall, it was a good experience. There’s no dine-in option; all orders are taken out through a window at the front door. I placed my order online, and the process was easy to navigate, allowing me to choose to pay in person. The bao was a bit chewy for my liking, but I’m not a fan of certain bread products. The pork fried rice was tasty and moist. The dumplings were excellent, packed with flavor and filling. I definitely recommend this place, especially since it’s a local business. Let’s support local!
