This place had a facelift and is now called Vietnam corner. did not get ant bean sprouts, mint and lemon that traditionally come with Pho. no sauces as in fish sauce, chili, hoi sin and soy.had to... for the sauces and gave me so small portions, I prefer it as it was before, I was a more regular one here. the change does not like and will not be back. You could look all the imagination, but you have lost tradition with food. so sad, oh well back to the marketplace I go.
This restaurant serves a fusion of Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine. We tried the Calamari, Vietnamese dry noodles, and Pho noodle soup. The prices were very affordable, and the food was absolutely delicious.
I have many Asian friends and after having been invited to this place several times, I found out that this restaurant has some of the most authentic and accurate dishes from China and Vietnam. The prices are good and the service is great. I was in this restaurant enough time to have tried every item on their menu 4 times, it's really so good. So if you're after something Chinese or Vietnamese, then this place is very worth it. If you are after a soup, go the Winton Bbq pork noodle soup If you are after a dish with a bit of everything, then you can not go to the combination chow mine. But it's all good to be so adventurous and try something new.
We have been regularly going to Vietnam Corner for many years. It’s our ‘go to’ restaurant whenever we need a quick delicious meal. The food is authentic, consistent and the service is prompt. The restaurant is no fuss with basic and clean decor. The lemongrass...chicken or pork is great as is their BBQ meats (pork, chicken, duck). Both the Vietnamese and Chinese menu is worth ordering from. The dessert/drinks are refreshing asian drinks particularly during summer. Meals are reasonably priced with good sized portions. Most of the patrons are local asians who usually eat and leave. Although it is usually busy, turn around time is usually short. Unless you have a large group, you can usually walk in without a reservation. If you have a large group, reservations would be recommended. Location under the carpark ramp adds to the charm of the restaurant. Highly recommended to try Vietnam Corner if you enjoy Vietnamese or Chinese cuisine.
