This restaurant is fantastic. However, they need to pay more attention to their service. I ordered the salad with halloumi and it came with bread on the side. It was delicious. It's refreshing to see a salad without lettuce, and this place nails it with an amazing dressing and perfectly grilled halloumi for only five dollars. This has become my new go-to spot for lunch.
We had lunch at this restaurant and had a great experience. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff was friendly, and the presentation of the dishes was impeccable. The dish we ordered was filled with fresh tomatoes, and topped with a delicious dressing. Although the prices were on the higher side, the quality of the food made it worth it.
I went here to lunch with jon w and ash nauradi (his suggestion.) the first thing they notice is how new and clean the place is and walked away from the stereotype of a greasy kidnap. the menu is quite simple, but there is a good variety and I feel personally that this makes it easier to choose from as many options. I ordered a hello wrap and it was decent. the cheese was not burned, was not too watery and there was a good amount so I got a few in each bite. the one mistake was the humble, simple and tasteless, a little spicy would not go. in view of his situation in aldgate and the fact that I did not try any of the sweets on this occasion, I will come back in definitiv!
I don't usually come to a gyro shop because of the dearth of vegetarian options, so was surprised to find a t least a couple of options here. I usually get the the Halloumi with Olives option. Not sure how authentic this is, but it's delicious. Surprisingly so juste because I don't expect 2 salty items to go well together. The service is pretty quick, even during busy lunch times. The staff could really smile a bit more and just generally put on their happy face. We're customers after all. But then, some times it's tough when there a lot of customers to get through, so it's forgivable.
