Nice atmosphere. Tasty cocktails. Generous dishes. Value for money.

It is what it is and I should have realised it wasn't what we were after. A bar with food, not a restaurant with a bar. Staff helpful, food decent, however loud music system and layout of the interior didn't enhance our gathering a retirement get together for a long standing colleague. I take the blame as the Lizard Lounge was everything it tells you it will be!!!!

I have visited the Lizard Lounge many times over the past three years. The service has always been fantastic and the food delicious. However, recently the restaurant made changes to their drink menu, which used to be my favorite. The new drinks were described as different from the classic juice cocktail bar style, but unfortunately, my group found them to be unpalatable. We tried five different drinks and were all disappointed with the taste. I spoke to the manager about our experience and he offered me a free drink, which was better but still not as good as the previous cocktail menu. It seems the restaurant has tried to reinvent their image in the cocktail world, but in doing so, they have lost the appeal of their old classics. While the Lizard Lounge still serves delicious burgers and wings, if you are looking for a satisfying cocktail, you may need to look elsewhere. I hope they realize their mistake with the new menu and bring back the old favorites. Until then, I will have to find another spot for happy hour.

A reasonably good place to go for a drink or a meal. Nice décor, warm and inviting, fairly cosy. Though a bit on the expensive side, the food is excellent, selection of cocktails exquisite. My favourite is the quiz night, on every Sunday evening. My least favourite: the music, which is usually too loud.
